The Asian Journal of Life and Social Sciences (Asian J. Life Soc. Sci.) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal launched by the Society of Eminent Biological Scientists (SEBS) in response to the unprecedented transformations reshaping human society and the natural world. These changes driven by climate change, digitalization, artificial intelligence, economic shifts, and evolving global health dynamics are redefining the connections between human behavior, life sciences, and social structures.

The journal explores the complex interactions between biological and social systems in light of contemporary issues such as changing food systems, health and wellness, AI-enabled diagnostics, soil and crop monitoring, urbanization, sports science innovation, climate-induced migration, and evolving economic structures. From traditional agriculture and herbal medicine-based economies to modern service-driven and AI-supported ecosystems, the human experience is undergoing rapid redefinition. The journal emphasizes how these shifts influence psychology, public health, education, communication, sports performance, governance, international relations, and cultural expression.

By serving as a transdisciplinary platform, the journal aims to foster evidence-based dialogue that bridges life sciences and social sciences, bringing together research from fields as diverse as biology, health sciences, geography, economics, sports and physical education, linguistics, literature, and digital humanities.

Aims of the Journal

  1. To publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances understanding of human behavior, societal systems, and their intersection with emerging technologies and life sciences.
  2. To bridge disciplinary boundaries across life sciences, behavioral sciences, social sciences, humanities, and applied sciences, fostering transdisciplinary dialogue and innovation.
  3. To addresses current global challenges such as climate change, digital transformation, public health, food security, and shifting societal values.
  4. To provide a platform for diverse research methodologies, including theoretical, empirical, quantitative, qualitative, and experimental studies.

Objectives

  • To integrate perspectives from psychology, sociology, education, political science, law, anthropology, economics, communication, sports sciences, linguistics, literature, and geography with life and environmental sciences.
  • To support the development of policy-relevant, real-world applicable research that contributes to sustainable development and societal well-being.
  • To encourage inquiry into the biological, psychological, emotional, moral, and social dimensions of human behavior, particularly in the context of rapid technological and environmental change.
  • To examine how advancements in science and technology (e.g., AI, biotechnology, virtual environments) impact learning, health, governance, commerce, physical performance, cultural expression, and spatial dynamics.
